CANCELLATION POLICY
By booking a stay at Popi Apartments, the Guest accepts the following cancellation and modification terms. These terms depend on the rate plan selected by the Guest at the time of booking.
1. Flexible (Standard) Tariff
- Free Cancellation: Guests can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 14 days [or 7 days, depending on your preference] before their scheduled arrival date (by 3:00 PM local time). Any deposits will be refunded in full within 7 business days.
- Late cancellation: If the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before arrival or in the event of a no-show, the deposited amount is non-refundable and the Landlord reserves the right to charge the Guest for the entire stay.
2. Non-Refundable Tariff
- Choosing this tariff usually involves a lower, promotional price for accommodation.
- In the case of a non-refundable booking, the full amount of the stay is charged at the time of booking.
- The guest is not entitled to a refund in the event of cancellation, change of booking date or no-show.
3. Shortening the stay during its duration
- If the Guest decides to leave the apartment before the planned departure date (shortening the stay), the amount paid for unused nights is non-refundable.
4. Cancellation procedure
- Cancellation of a reservation made directly on our website (via the Smoobu system) requires a clear notification via email to: [Your email address]. The date of cancellation is deemed to be the date the Lessor receives the notification.
- In the case of reservations made through external portals (e.g. Booking.com, Airbnb), the cancellation must be made by the Guest directly on the profile of the given reservation portal, in accordance with the rules applicable there.
5. Cancellation of the reservation by the Lessor (Force Majeure)
- In exceptional situations beyond the control of the Lessor (technical failure in the apartment preventing the safe stay of guests, flooding, lack of access to utilities or other force majeure events), the Lessor reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
- In such a case, the Guest will be informed immediately and all deposited funds will be refunded 100%. The Landlord will also endeavor to offer an alternative date, if possible.
